Four new terpenoids, a new neolemnane, parathyrsoidin E (1), a new nardosinane, parathyrsoidin F (2), and two new nor-nardosinane, parathyrsoidins G and H (3 and 4) were isolated from soft coral Paralemnalia thyrsoides. The structures of the new compounds were determined by extensive analysis of spectroscopic data. Moreover, metabolites 1-4 were evaluated in vitro for their cytotoxicity towards selected cancer cell lines and antiviral activity against human cytomegalovirus (HCMV). Compounds 1-4 displayed cytotoxicity against P-388, with ED50 of 2.59, 1.07, 5.31 and 2.49 µg/mL, respectively. Compounds 1-4 was also examined for antiviral activity against human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) using a human embryonic lung (HEL) cell line. Parathyrsoidins G (3) show anti-HCMV activity with ED50 of 8.1 µg/mL.
