Neue orale Antikoagulanzien in der zahnärztlichen Behandlung

Die neuen oralen Antikoagulanzien in Form des Thrombininhibitors Dabigatran und der Faktor Xa-Inhibitoren Rivaroxaban und Apixaban weisen im Vergleich zu Vitamin-K-Antagonisten einen schnelleren Wirkungseintritt und eine kurze Halbwertszeit auf. Gleichzeitig entfallen Wirkspiegelkontrollen und Dosisanpassungen wobei aufgrund des bislang fehlenden Antidots im Falle des Auftretens von Blutungskomplikationen nur eine rein symptomatische Behandlung des Patienten möglich ist.
