Zusammenfassung
Papillome im Ösophagus sind seltene endoskopische Befunde. Ihr Stellenwert und insbesondere ihr Malignitätspotenzial sind aktuell noch unklar. In Einzelfall-Berichten wird eine maligne Degeneration und der Nachweis Humaner Papilloma-Viren (HPV, oft der Subtypen 6, 11, 16, 18) beschrieben, wie HPV-Subtypen auch bei papillomatösen Karzinomen im Genital- und Oropharynxbereich wiederholt nachweisbar sind und als pathogenetisch -ursächlich angeschuldigt werden. Wir berichten über einen 48-jährigen Patienten der im distalen Ösophagus/Kardiabereich eine ca. 1,5 × 2,5 cm große, polypoide Formation (Paris Is) aufwies, die intermittierend in den Magen prolabierte und diskutieren das Krankheitsbild und die aktuelle Literatur.
Abstract
Papillomata in the esophagus are a rare entity. Their role and malignant potential has finally not yet been clarified so far. In single case reports a malignant degeneration has been described with proof of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV, often subtypes 6, 11, 16, 18) as HPV is found also in papillomatous malignant genital tumors and papillomatous carcinomata of the oropharynx. We report on a 48 year-old patient who presented with a 1,5 × 2,5 cm polypoid papillomatous lesion in the distal esophagus / cardia with intermittend prolaps into the stomach. We discuss the entity of esophageal papillomata and recent literature.
