Eine Soforttypreaktion auf Kürbiskerne

Zusammenfassung

Wir berichten über einen 31-jährigen Patienten, der während des Verzehrs von Kürbiskernbrot eine Lippenschwellung, Zungenschwellung und Dyspnoe entwickelt hatte. Eine notärztliche Versorgung der Anaphylaxie hatte eine schnelle Besserung der Symptome erbracht. Im Rahmen der allergologischen Diagnostik konnten wir im Prick-to-Prick-Test sowie laborchemisch eine Soforttypsensibilisierung gegenüber Kürbiskernen nachweisen.

Abstract

A 31-year-old patient developed swelling of the lips and tongue as well as dyspnoea while eating pumpkinseed bread. Emergency treatment of the anaphylaxis quickly resolved the symptoms. In the course of the allergological diagnostic process we confirmed sensitization of the immediate type by a prick-to-prick test as well as by laboratory analysis.
