Zusammenfassung
Der spontan auftretende Pneumothorax beim jungen Erwachsenen ist ein potenziell lebensbedrohliches
Krankheitsbild und sollte von jedem Notarzt erkannt und behandelt werden können. Jedoch
ist die Abgrenzung eines Pneumothorax von anderen Thoraxerkrankungen im präklinischen
Umfeld mitunter schwierig. Das Krankheitsbild sowie das diagnostische und therapeutische
präklinische und klinische Vorgehen werden in diesem Beitrag anhand von zwei Patientenbeispielen
erörtert.
Abstract
The spontaneous pneumothorax in the adolescent is a potentially life-threatening condition
and must be identified and adequately treated by any emergency physician. However,
its delineation from other thoracic pathologies in the pre-clinical setting may be
difficult. The clinical pictures as well as the pre-clinical and clinical diagnostic
and therapeutic procedures are discussed in this article.
