Five new pregnane glycosides (1 – 5) were isolated from Cynanchum otophyllum Schneid, a folk medicinal plant known as Qingyangshen, endemic to the Yunnan Province of China. The structures were elucidated by NMR experiments. Compounds2 and 4 exhibited cytotoxic activity against HL-60 cells with IC50 values of 36 and 48µM, respectively.
