Abstract

The World Health Organization declared stress as one of the main risks for public health in the 21st century. Manuia® is an authorized homeopathic combination preparation in this field of indication. Its effectiveness and safety was evaluated in the present non-interventional study, which was conducted by 76 physicians in German private practices. 420 patients aged 7 to 92 years participated.

At the control visit, which took place after 26 days on average, significant improvements were observed in each of the 20 evaluated symptoms. Global illness severity was clinically relevant reduced and patients‘ quality of life improved in 72 % of all patients. Tolerability was good or very good in the majority of all cases.

The data suggests therefore the evaluated homeopathic combination preparation as a therapeutic option in the treatment of nervous complaints and exhaustion.
