Ein schnell wachsendes Feld in der Diabetologie ist die Diabetestechnologie, wenn
man dies allein an der Zahl spezifischer Fachzeitschriften, der zugehörigen Publikationen
und der Teilnehmer von Fachkongressen festmacht. Ein solcher Kongress hat sich in
Europa angesiedelt und lockt jedes Jahr mehr als 1000 internationale Fachbesucher
an: Vom ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES & TREATMENTS FOR DIABETES (ATTD) 2011 und 2012 in London/Barcelona
seien hier einige Highlights angeführt, die für den Klinikarzt relevant sind oder
es in Zukunft werden können.
A rapidly developing field in diabetology is diabetes technology when this is judged
solely on the numbers of specialist journals, of respective publications and of the
participants of specialist congresses. One such congress has become establish in Europe
and attracts each year more than 1000 international experts. Some highlights from
the ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES & TREATMENTS FOR DIABETES (ATTD) 2011 and 2012 in London
and Barcelona that are currently relevant or will become relevant for clinicians in
the future are presented here.
