Fast die Hälfte aller in den Praxen behandelten Katzen ist übergewichtig. Grund genug, die Besitzer über Risiken aufzuklären, frühzeitig Maßnahmen zu ergreifen und die Tiere mit gezielten Diätprogrammen zu ihrem Normalgewicht zu begleiten.
