Klinische Studien in der Zahnmedizin – und was dahinter steckt

Klinische Studien sind allgemein definiert als prospektive Untersuchungen gegen eine Kontrolle, die die Wirkung und den Wert einer oder mehrerer Interventionen am Menschen beleuchten. Sie können grundsätzlich anhand der Vorgehensweise unterteilt werden. Um eine Aussage in Bezug auf einen Therapieeffekt treffen zu können, stehen verschiedene methodische Prinzipien zur Verfügung. Zur exakten Umsetzung einer klinischen Studie ist große Sorgfalt und profundes Fachwissen aller Beteiligten notwendig.

Clinical trials are generally defined as prospective studies compared to a control that shows the effects and values of one or more interventions on the human body. Clinical trials can be subdivided based on the approach. Varying methodologies are available in order to make a statement on the therapeutic effect. All persons involved require an in-depth knowledge and must exercise great care when conducting a clinical study.
