Zusammenfassung

Das neue Erwachsenenschutzrecht, das 2013 in der Schweiz in Kraft tritt, wird die institutionelle Psychiatrie nachhaltig beeinflussen. Der Artikel gibt einen kurzen Überblick und geht auf einzelne, für die Psychiatrie bedeutsame Bestimmungen ein. Dabei werden Patientenverfügungen und ambulante Zwangsmaßnahmen speziell beleuchtet und anhand der Fachliteratur kritisch diskutiert.
