Zusammenfassung

Die Zahl der Kaiserschnitte mit den daraus resultierenden Komplikationen nimmt in der Bundesrepublik kontinuierlich zu. Eine Indikation ist die Einstellungsanomalie Beckenendlage bei Einlingen am Termin. Während Morbidität und Mortalität der vaginalen Geburt bei Beckenendlage in Studien nicht signifikant differieren von den Resultaten der primär sektionierten Kinder, ist ein Ausbildungs- und Erfahrungsdefizit zur Betreuung von Patientinnen mit Steißlage unter der Geburt nachweisbar.

Abstract

The cesarean section rate and the associated complications are still rising in Germany. An important indication is term breech in singletons. Not significant data concerning a higher morbidity or mortality in vaginal breech birth indicate the cesarean but a deficit in education and experience.
