Abstract

Die Notfallsonographie hat für das Management beim Trauma einen evidenten Stellenwert. eFAST und eFAST-plus tragen dazu bei, im I° survey, d.h. im Schockraum, Leben zu retten. CEUS unterstützt das behandelnde Team im II° survey, zielgerichtet weitere bildgebende Verfahren einzusetzen. Denn die Notfallsonographie und die Computertomographie beim Trauma sind sich ergänzende und nicht sich konkurrierende Verfahren - wie oft diskutiert.

Emergency ultrasound is established in the management of trauma patients in the resuscitation room, it is everywhere available and can be repeated as often as necessary. eFast helps in the 1° survey (first examination of advanced trauma life support, ATLS^®) to identify a hemoperitoneum, a pericardial tamponade or a big haematothorax. Among other things with eFast a retention of the stomach oder a elevation of intracranial pressure can be detected. Emergency ultrasound contributes significant to select the appropriate imaging method in the II° survey: CEUS, CT, angiography, etc. Ultrasound and other imaging methods do not compete, they complement one another.
