Through a case of advanced stomach cancer I would like to illustrate the different
paths of healing. While healing is often defined as the disappearance of pathology,
it is, the author suggests seeing healing as learning the lessons that are presented
through the symptoms and pathology. Not only is this a more loving perception of health
and life but it also doesnʼt necessarily mean that the pathology has to disappear.
In the presented case, while the patient was going through a very profound healing
process his pathology remained and even progressed.
