Einleitung

Eine spontane Herniation des Myelons durch einen ventralen Duradefekt ist sehr selten. Bislang wurden etwa 90 Fälle beschrieben [1] [2]. Im Falle progredienter Beschwerden wird eine neurochirurgische Behandlung empfohlen, um das hernierte Myelon zu reponieren und den Duradefekt zu verschließen [1].

Wir berichten von einem jungen Patienten mit dem Initialsymptom einer Thermhypästhesie links unterhalb von Th6 und nachfolgender motorischer Parese des linken Beines sowie einer Blasen-Mastdarm-Störung, für die sich eine thorakale Myelonherniation als Ursache nachweisen ließ.
