Zusammenfassung
Phytotherapie und deren Grundlagen sind in Deutschland ein fester Bestandteil der
Lehre im Studiengang Pharmazie. In Vorlesungen, Seminaren und praktischen Übungen
werden sowohl Grundlagen als auch spezielles Wissen vermittelt. Die grundlegenden
Voraussetzungen für die Einbindung der Apotheker in die Nutzung pflanzlicher Arzneimittel
sind damit gewährleistet. Mit geeigneten Initiativen sollte auch die Forschung im
Umfeld der Phytotherapie wieder stärker in den Blickpunkt rücken, damit die Wissensvermittlung
in Forschung und Lehre langfristig gesichert ist.
Summary
Phytotherapy as part of courses in pharmacy in German universities
Phytotherapy and its basic principles are an important component of education in the
pharmacy degree course in Germany. Basic knowledge and specific expertise are provided
in lectures, seminars, and practical exercises. Thus, all pharmacists have a reasonable
training to contribute to the application of herbal medicinal products by giving valuable
information to patients. There is need for initiatives to promote research in the
field of phytotherapy to ensure future expertise of pharmacists by research and education.
