Glycoalkaloids were produced from callus and regenerated plants of Solanum nigrum L. (Solanaceae) using different concentrations of auxins and cytokinins. The glycoalkaloids were separated by acid base precipitation, and determined by high performance liquid chromatography. The produced glycoalkaloids found to have antioxidant activity against the free radical DPPH. Also, they exhibited cytotoxic activity against the selected carcinoma cell lines including liver, breast and lymphoplastic leukemia cell lines. Examination of the antiviral activity showed that glycoalkaloids had virucidal effect against the tested virus strains. In addition, callus glycoalkaloids were found to have antischistomiasis and antifasciolos activities.
