Anämietherapie bei chronischer Niereninsuffizienz – Erstes Epoetin-Biosimilar für subkutane Gabe zugelassen

Patienten mit chronischer Niereninsuffizienz haben ein erhöhtes Risiko, eine Anämie zu entwickeln. ESA ("Erythropoiesis Stimulating Agents") sind potente Substanzen, um der Blutarmut von Dialysepatienten zu begegnen. Erythropoetin (EPO) stimuliert die Bildung von roten Blutkörperchen, weshalb sich Forschungsanstrengungen hierauf konzentrieren.
