Zusammenfassung

Der folgende Artikel beschäftigt sich mit den verschiedenen naso-oropharyngealen und endotrachealen Absaugtechniken sowie deren Indikationen und Gefahren. Die „erfolgreiche Absaugung” von Kindern auf der Intensivstation setzt gewisse (patho-)physiologische Kenntnisse voraus, die ebenfalls Gegenstand dieses Leitfadens sein werden.
