Abstract

A literature search with the search terms “cancer AND dental AND radiographs” yielded 13 publications for exploration. Malignancies of the parotid gland, meningiomas and leukemia seem to be associated with previous dental x-ray examinations. Consequently, the indication for radiographic examination has to be very strict.
