Significance
An alternative approach to the development of catalysts for C-N cross-coupling reactions is presented. The authors report a palladium catalyst based on two different biaryl-phosphine ligands, RuPhos and BrettPhos. By a ligand exchange reaction, this system takes the form of multiple catalysts, displaying the highest reactivity and substrate scope of all C-N cross-coupling systems which have been reported so far.
