Therapie akuter und chronischer Hufrehe mit Laserakupunktur

Zusammenfassung

Laserakupunktur wird als eine sehr wirkungsvolle Therapie bei Erkrankungen der Huflederhaut des Pferdes beschrieben. Der Anwendungsbereich der Laserakupunktur reicht von der gestörten Demarkation bei Hufgeschwüren über akute und chronische Hufrehe bis hin zur Behandlung von großflächig nekrotisierenden Huflederhautentzündungen. Hervorgehoben wird die lokal durchblutungsfördernde, demarkationsfördernde und entzündungshemmende Wirkung der Lasertherapie und die allgemein regulierende Wirkung der Akupunktur. Die Vorgehensweise in der Laserakupunktur, der Verlauf der Erkrankung während der Therapie und die hervorragende Wirkung werden anhand einiger Fallbeispiele näher beschrieben.

Summary

Laser acupuncture is shown as a proper method to treat different kinds of laminitis in horses. The area of application ranges from acceleration of demarcation in hoof abscesses, acute and chronic laminitis to extensive necrotic laminitis. The article emphasizes the stimulation of blood perfusion, demarcation and anti-inflammatory effects of local laser therapy as well as the regulation of the whole body by acupuncture. The modus operandi of laser acupuncture, the progress of the patient during therapy and outstanding effects are presented in the case studies.
