Abstract

Two new trijugin-type limonoids, cipatrijugins E and F (1 and 2), together with the known cipatrijugins A and D (34), were isolated from the stem bark of Cipadessa baccifera. All structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis. The in vitro cytotoxicity of compounds 14 was also tested. Compound 1 showed significant in vitro cytotoxicity against MCF-7, SW480, HL-60, and SMMC-7721 cells, with IC50 values of 5.0, 6.6, 4.5, and 21.6 µM, respectively.
