Zusammenfassung
Für ein Schulter-Impingement scheinen verschiedene Dysfunktionsmuster der Skapula verantwortlich zu sein. Das Ziel dieser Studie bestand darin herauszufinden, ob die Skapulakinematik beim Schulter-Impingement-Syndrom eine Rolle spielt. Zudem werden Diagnose und Therapie einer Skapuladysfunktion dargestellt.
Es gibt Evidenz dafür, dass klinisch arbeitende Therapeuten eine Skapuladysfunktion sowohl mit einfachen Messungen als auch mit Inspektion und Bewegungsanalysen feststellen können. Als effektiver Therapieansatz gelten vor allem Übungen für die skapulothorakale Muskulatur, wofür derzeit jedoch noch wenig Evidenz vorliegt.
Abstract
Different scapula dysfunction patterns seem to be responsible for shoulder impingement. The aim of this study was to ascertain whether scapula kinematics play a role in shoulder impingement syndrome. Additionally the diagnosis and therapy of scapula dysfunction are portrayed.
There exists evidence that clinicial therapists can detect scapula dysfunction with simple measurements as well as through inspection and movement analysis. Exercise for the scapula-thoracic musculature is considered to be an effective therapy approach. There is, however, little current evidence to support this belief.
