Herstellung einer Vollkeramikkrone im vorklinischen Studentenkurs

Dem aktuellen Wunsch nach ästhetisch und funktionell hochwertigen, metallfreien Restaurationen folgend, hat die Versorgung von Patienten mit Vollkeramikkronen zugenommen und wird auch in der vorklinischen Studentenausbildung in Marburg gelehrt. Sie ist Bestandteil der Ausbildung im Phantomkurs I der Zahnersatzkunde der Abteilung für orofaziale Prothetik und Funktionslehre im Bereich Propädeutik. In diesem Kurs werden für die von den Studierenden präparierten Zahnstümpfe mithilfe eines Cerec–3–D–Geräts Keramikkäppchen hergestellt und anschließend verblendet.

The dental treatment of patients with all–ceramic crowns has increased and is also taught during the preclinical education in Marburg subsequent to current requests for aesthetical and functional high–quality, metal–free restorations. It is an integral part of the second preclinical course of prosthetic dentistry in the Devision of Orofacial Prosthodontics and Functional Education, Department of Preclinical and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. With the assistance of Cerec 3D the students prepare ceramic caps for their self–made tooth stumps which they blind afterwards.
