Zusammenfassung

Das Körpergewicht des Patienten ist auch bei der Ernährungstherapie des Intensivpatienten zu berücksichtigen. Grundsätzlich können viele ernährungsmedizinische Leitlinien (DGEM, ESPEN) auch bei diesem besonderen Krankentyp angewendet werden. Wahrscheinliche Ausnahmen stellen jedoch die Kalorien- und die Eiweißzufuhr dar, deren Umfang modifiziert werden muss.
