Periodontitis and periodontal therapy are often succeeded by tissue loss resulting in unesthetic gingival contours. In particular missing interproximal structures can jeopardize the overall esthetic appearance. The following article critically describes methods to solve esthetic concerns after successful periodontal treatments.
