Summary

Six new patients with anterior intervertebral disc herniations are reported. This is probably one of the most common causes of back pain in children.

Excessive sport activity and osteoporosis are probably two main causes of anterior intervertebral disc herniations.

Anterior intervertebral disc herniation is a severe complication of prolonged, mild trauma.

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über 6 Patienten mit Zwischenwirbelscheibenprolaps berichtet.

Bandscheibenvorfall ist wahrscheinlich eine der häufigsten Ursachen von Rückenschmerzen bei Kindern.

Übermäßige sportliche Betätigung und Osteoporose dürften zwei Hauptursachen des Bandscheibenvorfalls darstellen.

Der Zwischenwirbelscheibenprolaps ist eine ernste Komplikation bei langandauerndem milden Trauma.
