Zusammenfassung
Unter optimalen Bedingungen können die diagnostischen Aussagen von Xeromammographie
und Filmmammographie einander fast ebenbürtig sein. Wegen der relativen Schwierigkeit
jedoch, die frühdiagnostisch wichtigen staubförmigen Mikrokalzifikationen im Xerogramm
aufzufinden, ist die Filmmammographie mit Molybdän-Drehanodenröhre und Materialprüffilm
langer Entwicklungsdauer derzeit als optimale mammographische Methode anzusehen, die
einer Ergänzung durch die Xeroradiographie nicht bedarf.
Summary
Under optimal conditions xeromammography and filmmammography can reach about the same
diagnostic accuracy. However because of the difficulty to detect xeroradiographically
tiny microcalcifications filmmammography is to be considered as the optimal mammographic
method provided it is carried out with rotating molybdenum anode and industrial type
film for longer processing time.
