Zusammenfassung

Die Serienszintigraphie mit regionalen Aktivitätszeitprofilen über den Speicheldrüsen erlaubt neben der morphologischen eine quantitativ funktionelle Beurteilung der Drüsenfunktion. Im AZP läßt sich eine vaskuläre, eine Akkumulations- und eine exkretorische Phase unterscheiden. Die beiden letzteren erlauben eine funktionelle Beurteilung des Drüsenparenchyms und der Ausführungsgänge. Die Charakteristika der einzelnen Funktionsstadien werden an Normalfällen beschrieben.

Summary

Serial scans with regional activity-time profiles over the salivary glands make it possible to evaluate function of these glands morphologically and on a quantitative basis. The activity-time profile distinguishes between a vascular, an accumulation and an excretory phase. The last two provide a functional evaluation of the glandular parenchyma and of the excretory ducts. The characteristic features of these stages are described in normals.
