Zusammenfassung

Wird im Serienbild oder bei Großbildaufnahmen von todbedrohten, neurologischen Kranken ein Zirkulationsstillstand festgestellt, so muß dieser nach den Beobachtungen der zerebralen Röntgenkinematographie nicht unbedingt vollständig sein. Mehrere Beobachtungen zeigten vielmehr, daß eine totale Zirkulationsblockade bei neurologischen Kranken eher seltener ist als das Vorhandensein einer Restzirkulation. Ob sich diese Restzirkulation durch therapeutische Maßnahmen vermehren läßt, ist gegenwärtig noch unklar.

Summary

Apparent cessation of circulation in the brain in patients with terminal conditions as shown by serial films may prove to be incomplete when cerebral cine radiography is carried out. Several observations in patients with neurological disease have shown that total cessation of circulation is less common than a reduced blood flow. It is not clear at present whether the reduced blood flow can be improved by any therapeutic measures.
