Zusammenfassung

Es wird die Kombination Leberszintigraphie-Feinnadelaspirationsbiopsie bei 140 Krebspatienten mitgeteilt. In 28 Fällen hat man Tumorzellen gefunden. Im kontrollierten Teil (52 Patienten) hat man in 17 aus 30 möglichen Fällen Lebermetastasen festgestellt; die Methode wird sicher als präoperative Untersuchung von Nutzen sein.

Summary

The results of combined liver scanning and needle biopsy in 140 patients with carcinomas are described. In 28 patients, tumour cells were found. In 52 patients in whom the findings were known for certain, liver metastases were found in 17 out of 30. The method is considered to be of value in preoperative investigation.
