Osteogenesis imperfecta mit hyperplastischer Knochenbildung

Zusammenfassung

Auf Grund von zwei Beobachtungen einer erhöhten Verkalkimgs- und Verknöcherungstendenz bei Osteogenesis imperfecta wird auf diese seltene Symptomatik und ihre mögliche Verbindung mit hämorrhagischer Diathese aufmerksam gemacht. Röntgenologisch finden sich sogenannte „hyperplastische Kallusbildung“ oder herdförmige Verkalkungen in den Epiphysen der langen Röhrenknochen.

Summary

The authors have observed two cases of osteogenesis imperfecta with a tendency to increased calcification and new bone formation. They draw attention to this rare condition and point out the possible relationship between it and a haemorrhagic diathesis. Radiologically this “hyperplastic callus” or focal calcification is found in the epiphyses of long bones.

Résumé

Deux observations personnelles ont incité les auteurs à relever la possibilité d'une combinaison d'une diathèse hémorragique avec une osteogenesis imperfecta, quand les cas de cette dernière présentent une tendance prononcée à la calcification et à l'ossification. Des formations de «cal hyperplastique» ou des calcifications en foyers groupés se rencontrent ainsi dans les épiphyses des os longs.

Resumen

Tomando como base dos observaciones de una elevada tendencia a la calcificación y a la osificación con osteogénesis imperfecta se hace observar sobre esta rara sintomática y su posible unión con diátesis hemorrágica. Radiológicamente se halla la llamada «formación hiperplástica del callo» o calcificaciones focales en la epífisis de los huesos largos.
