FLAVONOLS IN AMMI VISNAGA (L) LAM.

Summary

According to our experimental results we conclude the following about the composition of flavonol glycosides in leaves and flowers of Ammi visnaga (L) Lam. grown on the field of our Institute:

I. We isolated and identified these tri-, di-, and monoglycosides:

1. myricetin -3- glycoside (probably myricetin-3-xyloglucoglucuronide)

2. myricetin -3- glycoside (myricetin-3-xyloglucoside or myricetin-3- xylogalactoside)

3. myricetin -3- rhamnoglucoside

4. quercetin -3- rutinoside (rutin)

5. kaempferol -3- rutinoside

6. quercetin -3-glucoside (isoquercitrin)

7. kaempferol -3- glucoside (astragalin)

II. We isolated and identified the following aglycones: myricetin, quercetin and kaempferol.

III. We identified the following sugars: glucose, xylose, rhamnose, glucuronic acid and rutinose.
