Summary

Techniques for the microscopical examination of fresh material are described, and a description of the aerial parts of Calotropis procera which contain latex is given. Certain diagnostic features have been found.

Zusammenfassung

Nach Beschreibung der Technik für die mikroskopische Untersuchung von Frischmaterial wird die Anatomie der oberirdischen Teile von Calotropis procera beschrieben. Diese Art hat Interesse, weil in ihr ähnliche Glykoside wie in Slrophanthus gefunden wurden.
