Summary

Four solvent systems are described which enable the separation of 14 natural chromones and their detection by the use of three spray reagents followed by inspection under ultraviolet light. Practical means are described for the differentiation of visnagin and khellin as well as the natural drugs Ammi visnaga L. and A. ma jus L. The behaviour of other 26 related synthetic products on the chromatoplates is also given.

Zusammenfassung

Es werden 4 Systeme zur Trennung natürlicher Chromone, ihre Detection durch 3 Spray–Reagenzien und Betrachtung unter UV–Licht mitgeteilt. Als Beispiel wird die Identifizierung von Visnagin und Khellin wie auch der Drogen Ammi visnaga und A. majus beschrieben. Chromatographische Merkmale für weitere natürliche und synthetische Chromone sind in Tabelle 1 aufgeführt.
