Summary
In the aerial parts of Leucophyllum texanum, a medicinal shrub from the arid northeastern part of Mexico, it was found dotriacontane,
triacontane, hexaeicosanol, β–sitosterol and from the ethanolic extracts, a new aromatic
compound, regiomontane, C20H20O6, m.p. 135–136°, which seems to have a lignan skeleton.
Zusammenfassung
In den oberirdischen Organen von dem im nordöstlichen Mexico vorkommenden Leucophyllum texanum (Scropbulariaceae) wurden nachgewiesen: Dotriacontan, Triacontan, Hexaeicosanol, β–Sitosterol und als
neue aromatische Verbindung Regiomontan, das wahrscheinlich ein Lignangerüst besitzt.
