Summary

In Part VIII (Shellard, Beckett, Tantivatana, Phillipson and Lee, 1967) an account was given of the alkaloidal content of the leaves of Mitragyna javanica var. microphylla Koord. and Vale ton. No previous anatomical investigation of this plant appears to have been made.
