NEUERE UNTERSUCHUNGEN IN FOENICULUM VULGARE
Organische Säuren, speziell PhenylcarbonsäurenPublication History
Publication Date:
15 January 2009 (online)
Abstract
In connection with an investigation of essential oil production in Foeniculum vulgäre the plant was analyzed for organic acids. Besides cinnamic, p–hydroxycinnamic, ferulic and caffeic acid, benzoic, anisic, p–hydroxybenzoic, vanillic, gentisic, o–cumaric, protocatechuic, syringic, sinapic, fumaric, malic, tartric, citric, shikimic and quinic acid were demonstrated to be present.
Dynamics of the accumulation of phenylcarboxylic acid in different parts of flowering and fruiting plants were studied.
