Abstract
Choline bas been isolated from the aerial parts of Antirrhinum majus L., A. orontium L. and Linaria vulgaris Mill. The base has been assayed by means of the reineckate derivative and by paper chromatography; the two methods are compared. The Chromatographie method gives a more accurate determination of choline, allowing greater specificity and sensitivity.
