WIRKUNGEN VON EXTRAKTEN AUS SOLIDAGO VIRGAUREA AUF DEN STOFFWECHSEL VON KANINCHEN–HIRNSCHNITTEN

Summary

Solidago–Dr. Klein^®, an extract from dried Solidago virgaurea, prepared with 35 % aqueous ethanol, with additions of Potentilla anserina. Radix Rubia tinctorum, Equisetum arvense, Oleum Juniperi and Fructus Petroselini sativi, was added to rabbit brain slices after removing the alcohol. The glucose consumption and the aerobic formation of lactic acid by the slices were stimulated strongly. The respiration of the brain slices increased slightly. The production of pyruvate and the swelling of the brain tissue in vitro were diminished. An examination is recommended, if Solidago can be used therapeutically against brain edema.

Zusammenfassung

Solidago–Dr. Klein®– ein mit 35 %ig. wäßrigem Äthanol hergestellter Extrakt aus Solidago virgaurea mit Zusätzen von Potentilla anserina, Radix Rubia tinctorum, Equisetum arvense, Oleum Juniperi und Fructus Petroselini sativi, wurde vom Alkohol befreit und zu Kaninchen–Hirnschnitten gegeben. Der Glukose–Verbrauch und die aerobe Milchsäure–Bildung der Schnitte wurden stark gesteigert. Die Atmung der Hirnschnitte wurde leicht stimuliert. Die Pyruvat–Bildung und die Schwellung des Hirngewebes in vitro wurden verringert. Es wird empfohlen, zu prüfen, ob Solidago gegen Hirnödeme therapeutisch verwandt werden kann.
