Abstract

In the biosynthesis of the three lanatoside glycosides (Digitalis lanata) all the genins play a role as precursors on grounds of our investigations with labelled genins, contrary to that the lasts are produced on different pathways. The genins will be transformed in each other mutually. Digitoxin plays a central role in the biosynthesis of the lanatoside glycosides.
