Abstract
A method of Chromatographie separation of harman alkaloids on filter paper impregnated with formamide and a method of quantitative harman determination based on its fluorescence and planimetric measurement of peaks registrated by the microphotometer combined with a compensograph, directly from the chromatogram, were elaborated. Further an analogical quantitative determination method of flavonoids in harman raw materials, after their twodimensial paper–chromatographic separation is described.
The mentioned quantitative determination methods are more sensitive than the actually known ones and enable an objective reading of the harman (in concentrations up to 10 mg) and vitexine (up to 20 mg) contents in vegetable raw materials and in their processing products.
