Summary

In Hodgkin's disease the oesophagus is rarely affected by the granulomatosis process. The case of a 33-year-old female with generalized lymphogranulomatosis is presented in whom dysphagia was due to tumorous infiltration of the oesophagus. Several biopsies obtained from this lesion revealed histological alteration typical for Hodgkin's disease. Cobalt-60 teletherapy proved to be successfull in eliminating the infiltrative process.

Zusammenfassung

Die Einbeziehung des Ösophagus in einen lymphogranulomatösen Prozeß ist selten. Es wird über eine 33jährige Frau berichtet, bei der im Stadium IV B aufgrund einer endoskopisch-bioptisch gesicherten Lymphogranulomatose des oberen Ösophagus eine erhebliche Dysphagie bestand. Nach Telekobaltbestrahlung war die Patientin bis zu ihrem Tode über einen Beobachtungszeitraum von 2 Jahren rezidivfrei.
