Summary

After a short review on endoscopic diagnosis of transient ischemic colitis, the author calls attention to the ischemic pathology of the colon emphasizing the importance of coloscopy as a necessary aid in the diagnosis of these diseases.

Zusammenfassung

Nach einem kurzen Überblick über die endoskopische Diagnose der transitorischen ischämischen Kolitis geht der Autor auf die Pathologie dieses Krankheitsbildes ein und unterstreicht die Bedeutung der Koloskopie bei der Diagnostik von Durchblutungsstörungen im Kolon.
