Summary
A case of severe complication following anesthesia for liver biopsy is described in which the events occurred owing to a rare congenital anomaly of the liver. The authors drew attention to the diagnostic difficulties of biliary peritonitis and the importance of timely surgical intervention.
Zusammenfassung
Bericht über die ungewöhnliche Komplikation einer galligen Peritonitis durch Verletzung einer angeborenen, oberflächlich gelegenen Gallengangsanomalie mit der Anästhesienadel vor einer geplanten Leberblindpunktion. Obwohl die Punktion wegen sofort einsetzender heftiger in die rechte Schulter ausstrahlender Schmerzen nicht ausgeführt wurde, erlag der Patient der unter einem atypischen Krankheitsbild verlaufenden galligen Peritonitis.
