Summary
With the help of a transintestinal tube the Olympus colonoscope type FC-LB has been
introduced per-oral and was pulled down the small intestine in 2 patients with gastrointestinal
blood loss of undetermined origin. In one patient we reached the ileum, in the second
patient the cecum. Thus the whole small bowel is now accessible to endoscopy and endoscopic
biopsy.
Zusammenfassung
Mittels transintestinaler Sonde wurde das Olympus-Koloskop (Typ FC-LB) bei 2 Patienten
oral eingeführt und in den Dünndarm gezogen. Bei einem Patienten wurde das Ileum erreicht,
beim zweiten Patienten das Zökum. Der ganze Dünndarm ist nunmehr der Endoskopie und
der endoskopischen Biopsie zugänglich.
