Abstract
Solanum dasyphyllum is used in Central Africa to cure the gastrointestinal diseases. The whole plant, except the roots, contents glycoalcaloids derivated from tomatidenol (22 S–25 R spirosol–5 en–3 ol). The roots content tannins.
