ISOLATION AND IDENTIFICATION OF A NEW TROPANE ALKALOID

Abstract

As result of the purification of crude mixtures, containing N.n.butylscopolammonium bromide, an unknown component ivas isolated and identified. The corresponding alkaloid was isolated from an extract of Datura sanguinea and has not been reported hitherto in this species. The method of isolation and physical data are reported.
