Abstract

The known alkaloids α-yohimbine and alstonine and the quaternary base choline were detected in the leaves of R. obscura K. Schum. The E–seco alkaloid 10–ntethoxy–geissoschizol and 4 closely related usambarine-like alkaloide are reported.
